Raising 34 + kids

Felis is the daughter of Larry and Claire and lived and went to school
in Guatemala for most of her life while Larry and Claire started
and formed Eagle's Nest Children's Home.  They originally came to serve
out a two year commitment but within a year's time felt the calling to
commit longer. 

They have three three wonderful children they are raising along with
34 children at the Home.  I have observed the past couple of weeks that \
Felis and Pedro how much time and energy is put into loving and disciplining
the children, especially the older children, who seem to have been causing
more trouble the past couple weeks.  So as I grasped that they really are "raising" 34, plus 3 of their own, my prayers for strength, wisdom, and
guidance increased for them.  The Children here come from varied backgrounds of abuse and neglect and are obviouisly very happy here.
But they are children - in need of love and discipline which I am proud
to say they get here from the Mammas, the Patlans, and the Blocks.
In short, or long, they are raising 37 children along with the responsibilities of

running a ministry, a school, hosting teams, assisting with the Manna feeding program and church on Sundays, youth bible studies, overseeing the Mamma's, and the list goes on.  As I said before, they are an AMAZING couple that are truly doing God's work here on this mountaintop.  Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of it.
